Who We Are
Housing4Heroes is a Housing and Urban Development-Veterans Affairs Supportive Housing (HUD-VASH) participating landlord that offers affordable housing to homeless veterans.
Housing4Heroes Corporation will collaborate with the HUD-Veterans Affairs Supportive Housing (HUD-VASH) program, which combines HUD’s Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) rental assistance for homeless Veterans with case management and clinical services provided by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). VA provides these services for participating Veterans at the VA Medical Center (VAMCs), community-based outreach clinics (CBOCs), through VA contractors, or through other VA designated entities.
Housing4Heroes Corporation wants to be a participating landlord in the HUD-VASH rental subsidy program that will help provide critical affordable housing to veterans in New Jersey. As a potential real estate owner providing placement, we will receive guaranteed monthly rent payments which will aide in reducing homelessness. Founded in 2022 and incorporated in the state of New Jersey, the business has one location, at 40-Wheeler Street, Unit 2, Montclair, NJ 07042.
Our Purpose
Our purpose is to provide veterans and their families with the critical foundation – affordable, safe and suitable transitional and permanent housing, along with ancillary services such as job training and placement, career counseling, and transportation services – to create a more successful outcome for veterans transitioning back to civilian life.
Mission Statement
Our mission is to provide homeless and/or economically challenged veterans and their families with affordable, safe and suitable, permanent and transitional housing in New Jersey to facilitate a more successful transition back to civilian life.
What We Offer
Through collaborative programs between HUD-VASH, the Veterans Administration and community, Housing4Heroes seeks to help Veterans in need of housing and their families with HUD affordable housing vouchers, provide placement for permanent housing and refer to supplemental VA supportive services.
How We Work
We provide housing through rental assistance vouchers to eligible veterans. VA case managers will refer homeless veterans and their families seeking housing placement to Housing4Heroes whose intent is to help them to successfully secure housing and become contributing members within the community they reside.
