Veterans looking for employment will find a link called Hire Vets First powered by the US Department of Labor. Who’s vision is to enable all veterans, transitioning services members, and military spouses to reach their full potential in the work place.
Links and information regarding educational and training programs, where veterans can apply for credit bearing certificates, full degree programs, on the job training and apprenticeship programs and much more. Applicants can take national exams like SAT, ACT and LSAT. There are national license and certificate programs, like attorney’s license, C++ certification, certified safety professional and more.
Plus the veterans services page has a lot of other resources, like NJ benefits guides, a NJ Veterans Journal, housing programs and funeral services.
